Farmer's Market - Saturday, January 25 at the Marietta Square. Over 65 vendors offering a variety of fresh, locally grown, seasonal produce, and garden products.

Trains! Trains! Trains! - Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26 at the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History. In honor of the 10th anniversary, the museum will offer a re-imagined experience to celebrate the most popular event of the year!

2020 Atlanta Lunar New Year Festival - Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26 at 5377 New Peachtree Rd, Atlanta. Featuring dragon and lion dances, art and cultural exhibits, and various cultural performances, this celebration is sure to delight!

What's Up Weds ~ Weekend of January 17-19, 2020

"To Kill A Mockingbird" movie - Friday, January 17 at the Marietta Strand Theatre. Enjoy this special showing of one of the most important American films regarding social injustice. A free pre-show performed on the Mighty Allen Theater Organ begins a half hour prior to the movie.

Family Night Hike and Campfire - Saturday, January 18 at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell. Enjoy the sounds of winter in the woods as you hike through the trails. A campfire for toasting marshmallows awaits hikers at the end!

Pop-In for Family Fun - Saturday, January 18 at The Marietta Museum of History. The third Saturday of each month provides a themed filled day of activities and exploration for families.

2020 Special Olympics Indoor Winter Games - Friday, January 10 through Sunday, January 12 at the Cobb County Civic Center. More than 3000 athletes, coaches, and unified partners compete in basketball, bowling, floor hockey, artistic gymnastics, and powerlifting!

Surplus Sale - Friday, January 10 at Delta Flight Museum, Atlanta. All sorts of items from furniture, wall decor, to clothing are available for purchase. Considered a "Treasure Hunt", you never know what you may find!

History Hike: Meeting of the Mines - Saturday, January 11 at Iron Hill Trail in Cartersville. Go "off the trail" with this ranger-led hike! Check out the mines off Iron Hill Trail, and discover where the mines meet in the middle!

A Christmas Carol - Sunday, December 22 at Elm Street Cultural Arts Village in Woodstock. This heart warming Dickens classic is reimagined once again with original music and lyrics!

Christmas in Acworth - Saturday, December 14 in Historic Downtown Acworth. Come visit Santa and visit the Festival of Trees in Frana Brown Park! In addition to free pictures with Santa, all are welcome to free horse and carriage rides!

Kennesaw Mountain Trails Workday - Saturday, December 14 at Kennesaw Mountain. Volunteers are led by professional rangers to help clean up and maintain the trails throughout the park.

A Christmas Tradition - Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 at The Strand Theatre in Marietta. This holiday favorite features costumed singers and dancers performing both traditional and funky Christmas favorites.

A Day with Santa - Saturday, December 7 in Downtown Kennesaw. Beginning with a parade at 2pm on Main Street, Santa's arrival will be celebrated with marching bands, floats, and costume characters. After the parade, families can enjoy snow tubing, inflatables, shopping, stage entertainment, and visits with Santa at Depot Park!

SEC Football Championship Watch Party - Saturday, December 7 at Battery Atlanta. Come to the largest screen in Atlanta to watch Georgia and LSU battle in out for the win! Tickets available online!

33rd Annual Pilgrimage Christmas Home Tour - Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 in the Forest Hills Historic District, this tour features 6 private homes that have been restored and decorated for the holidays.

Frozen II Movie Release - In theaters Friday, November 22. Elsa, Anna, and friends go on an adventure to discover the origins of Elsa's powers.

2019 Tree Lighting - Saturday, November 23 at the Battery Atlanta. Starting with free photos with Santa, this family fun event is full of snowflake stilt walkers, candy cane hoopers, an appearance by an Atlanta Braves player, and music galore! The lighting takes place at 7:00 and the evening ends with a showing of The Grinch on the plaza screen.

Winter Wonderland and Ice Festival - Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24 at the Forum River Center in Rome. Intended to promote a season of peace, this festival brings together various cultures and faiths through music, food, theatrical entertainment, and vendors.

After our unseasonably long summer, fall is definitely here and winter is not far behind! It's hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is next week and then the holiday season will really kick in.

JLCM Mistletoe Market - Thursday, November 14 through Sunday, November 17 at Cobb Civic Center. Hosted by the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta, this shopping extravaganza features 50 plus specialty merchants from all over the southeast. Proceeds help many local community outreach programs.

Acworth Charm Historic Home Tour - Saturday, November 16 in Historic Downtown Acworth. This year features a day tour with High Tea, and a candelight tour. The self-paced tours invite visitors to stroll through Acworth's history.

Atlanta Water Lantern Festival - Sunday, November 17 at The Park at Lost Mountain in Powder Springs. A family friendly event designed to promote peace, hope, and happiness.
